The HRBA2J-Asia encourages knowledge sharing through the collection of best practice case studies and research on using a human rights-based approach (HRBA) to access to justice (A2J) concerns and programs. The Asian Consortium on HRBA2J, through the knowledge sharing, subsequently develops modules and other knowledge products that will be used for capacity development seminars and workshops.
The advocacy program of the HRBA2J-Asia first aims to build awareness on the application of a human rights based-approach (HRBA) to access to justice (A2J) concerns and programs in order to widen the acceptance of, and the constituency of those organizations that practice said approach. Second, the program is geared towards the development of a regional advocacy agenda that will advance priority A2J issues that cut across the region in view of solidifying the role of the Consortium in the A2J forum in the Asian region.
The HRBA2J-Asia shall forge cooperation with other like-minded organizations in pursuing a human rights-based approach (HRBA) in access to justice (A2J) initiatives in the country and regional level. This is geared towards establishing a unified approach in propagating HRBA2J across the Asian region, as well as globally.
